For every vehicle sold, Subaru of America, Inc. donated $250 to one of five charities of the customer’s choice – one being the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®).
Established as the first animal welfare organization in North America, the ASPCA has grown to be the nation’s leading voice for animals. The ASPCA develops and supports a wide variety of programs for shelters across the country and is a national leader in the areas of anti-cruelty, community outreach, and animal health services. “Since 2008, our participation in the ‘Share the Love’ event has raised more than $5.6 million, helping us continue our life-saving work for animals across the country,” said Elysia Howard, vice president of marketing and licensing for the ASPCA.
