From Connecticut to Canada
We bought our Subaru Forester in February 2017. In July and August, we traveled from New Preston, Connecticut, to Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada and back, a round trip of more than 10,000 miles in about 5 1/2 weeks. Part of the trip was on the Dempster Highway, a 450-mile gravel road (900-mile round trip) running between Dawson City in Yukon, and Inuvik. The Forester performed very well during a period of fairly sustained rain on a road that was very muddy and slick. The Forester was very stable with excellent traction. Here is a picture of our Subaru Forester on July 26, 2017, at the Arctic Circle.
