Subaru Gear Highlights Brands That Are Making a Difference

When buying outdoor gear, many Subaru owners are interested in the impact that those purchases make. SubaruGear.com makes the decision easy by highlighting Giveback Brands making a difference.

The Gear site offers a range of products that are either eco-friendly or provide a charitable donation. For example, the Wild Tribute Dog Tee is not just a cute way to show your love for Subaru and animals; 4% of the proceeds go to protect our national parks and other public lands.

And don’t forget to look for the icons that show how a purchase aligns with Subaru Love Promise pillars. “Subaru Gear is committed to giving back,” says Creative and Marketing Lead Amanda Stillman. “We’re proud to deliver gear that allows us to spread the Subaru Love Promise and share the love.”

Tight Inventories? Build Your Subaru Your Way

As you may have heard by now, new vehicle inventory is at record lows. According to an Automotive News story in June, industry-wide inventories are described as “flat” with about a 35-day supply across all manufacturers. Most industry analysts suggest that they’re going to remain flat through 2022.

For shoppers who know exactly which vehicle they want and are willing and able to wait for it, ordering a vehicle is a good option. It allows you to get the Subaru vehicle you want, in the model, trim level, color and options of your choice.

The process is easy: Meet with a retailer, and discuss the vehicle and options you want in your next Subaru. With a deposit, your retailer will place the order on your behalf and it will be sent to production. For those leasing a Subaru at this time, working with your retailer is important especially as the lease is coming to an end.

Subaru BRZ Attains IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Award

Subaru vehicles have long based their reputation on the ability to prevent injuries when occupants are in a crash. Now that safety reputation extends to the sporty BRZ 2-Door Coupe.

The second-generation BRZ, which is already significantly enhanced with greater horsepower, stiffness and handling, also delivers an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating for the first time in its history.

When equipped with an automatic transmission, the 2022 Subaru BRZ features the addition of EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology1 as a standard feature.

The BRZ joins five other Subaru models that received IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards for this model year – the Ascent, Crosstrek Hybrid, Forester, Outback and Legacy.

Subaru has earned more IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards than any other brand since 2013 as of June 2022.

1 EyeSight is a driver-assist system that may not operate optimally under all driving conditions. The driver is always responsible for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on many factors, such as vehicle maintenance, weather, and road conditions. See Owner’s Manual  for complete details on system operation and limitations. Requires automatic transmission.
