If you like your winter sports with a side of live music, tasty snacks and like-minded lovers of adventure, you’ll want to check out this year’s Subaru WinterFest celebrations starting in February.

POWDR, which manages mountain resorts across the country, has partnered with Subaru again for WinterFest, an opportunity for thrill-seekers to meet experts in mountain sports and hang out with a cool group of people.

“For many people, the winter months actually mean spending more time outdoors enjoying a wide variety of activities with friends and families, and our canine friends too,” says Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Subaru of America, Inc. “Our Subaru community looks forward to the return of WinterFest each year, which brings family-friendly activities to eight different ski resorts across the country.”

These eight mountain resorts provide some of the best skiing, snowboarding and hiking in the country, and WinterFest lays on the music with unique concerts presented by Harman Kardon®, provider of the premium audio options in Subaru vehicles.

WinterFest attendees are standing in front of a stage listening to music that a four-person band is playing. In the distance, snow covers the mountainside. Groups of evergreen trees are seen beyond the snow and the sky is a clear blue with a few scattered white clouds.

Concerts include performances from the Infamous Stringdusters, Lil Smokies, Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown, The Spazmatics, SunSquabi, Badfish, Big Gigantic and more.

If you’re thinking about buying new gear or learning some new skills, these mountain resorts have you covered. Look for opportunities to demo gear from Nordica®, Arbor Collective®, Mammut®, Dynamic Wax® and Thule®.

And there are plenty of activities and opportunities to refuel between runs. The resorts have set up ski-inspired lawn games, warmup stations at the upgraded Solo Stove® hangout zones, and chef-inspired s’mores, Vafels and Alpine Start® coffee at the WinterFest Café.

Anyone’s welcome to attend WinterFest, but there’s a bonus for Subaru owners. The “Subaru Weekend Takeover” features special experiences for owners, such as exclusive mountain gondola rides, tram jam sessions and intimate backcountry concerts. Subaru owners also get VIP parking and special gifts – but get there early because Subaru fans are often first on the mountain.

The schedule for WinterFest 2023 begins at Killington in Vermont on February 11-12 and wraps up on April 15-16 at Mount Bachelor in Oregon.
