There’s nothing quite like the end of a breathtaking run on a beautiful winter day. But for those who visit a Subaru partner resort hosting Subaru WinterFest this year, the adventure continues – in a major way – at the bottom of the slopes.
A one-of-a-kind celebration of winter, WinterFest keeps the fun going with everything outdoor enthusiasts love – from amazing live music to gear giveaways to delish complimentary snacks and refreshments. Last year’s WinterFest was bigger and better than ever, with even more activities and partner collaborations. National musicians such as Lukas Nelson, The Lil Smokies, and Langhorne Slim took to the main stage courtesy of audio partner Harman Kardon®, and SiriusXM® satellite radio kept attendees entertained with music from emerging artists and DJs. “Après” included delicious warm-ups from SmashMallow™ + Chocolove® S’mores as well as craft coffee. When they weren’t playing lawn games or warming up by the fire pits, visitors looked to demo the latest gear from top brands such as Nordica® and Lib Tech®. Each event also featured several new Subaru vehicles – including early looks at the largest Subaru ever, the all-new 2019 three-row Ascent.
WinterFest wouldn’t be complete without a little love for our four-legged friends, so Subaru made sure to celebrate the mountain communities’ canine heroes, avalanche rescue dogs. Rescue dogs “patrolled” WinterFest events with their handlers, who delivered outdoor safety tips. And because Subaru is committed to both safety and adventure, the company teamed up with longtime partner National Ski Patrol® to create a scholarship fund to send patrollers and their dogs to Wasatch Backcountry Rescue’s avalanche dog training school.
