Dawn Reiss is a Chicago journalist who loves a good road trip. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Time, The Atlantic, U.S. News & World Report and USA Today, among others.

Claire Zulkey is a freelance writer based in Evanston, Illinois, whose work covers topics such as parenthood, health, business and anything related to Chicago. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Entrepreneur, Runner’s World and Chicago magazine. She is the author of the young adult novel An Off Year.

Roy Furchgott is a freelance writer, photographer and editor from Baltimore. His work has appeared in more than 100 publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, Outside, Maxim, Self and the Arbutus Times.

Craig Fitzgerald is a writer and editor in the suburbs of Boston. He’s the automotive editor at Drive, with a focus on advanced safety and semi-autonomous technologies.

Anaheed Saatchi is a freelance journalist who covers themes of intentional community building, diaspora and identity politics. They’ve been published in Outside^®, Alpinist and Explore. In 2018, they co-founded the rock climbing collective BelayAll.

Dakota Kim covers culture, food, travel and TV. She has written for The New York Times, NPR, Vox, Sunset and Food52 and is the digital editor at Edible San Luis Obispo.

Dan Kricke covers pop culture, tech, music, sports and more. He has written for the Chicago Tribune and chronicled his experience living with hydrocephalus in a blog for the Hydrocephalus Association. He lives in Chicago with his wife, Gayle, and their dog, Augie.
