Amanda Ogle is a writer published by Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Afar, National Geographic, Texas Highways and more. Her work covers travel, food and drink, sustainability, and general lifestyle topics.

Craig Fitzgerald is a writer and editor in the suburbs of Boston. He’s the automotive editor at Drive, with a focus on advanced safety and semi-autonomous technologies. He was the editor of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car and acts as the editor in chief at NPR’s CarTalk.com. 

Laurie Szpot is the associate editor of Drive. She holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and was formerly a supplement editor and writer for Milwaukee Magazine. Her work has also appeared in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ozaukee News Graphic, Marquette Journal, Frogpond and other publications. She lives in the Milwaukee area.

Meghan O’Dea writes commercial content, service journalism, literary nonfiction, travel writing and more. Her work has been featured in The Washington Post, Willamette Week, Sisu Magazine, Lonely Planet and Yoga Journal.

James Stout is an investigative journalist. His writing and photography have appeared in National Geographic, Esquire, Smithsonian, Lapham’s Quarterly, Undark and The Appeal. He’s trained in wilderness medicine, basic life support and combat casualty care.

Jen Doll, a freelance journalist published in Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and The New York Times, is the author of the young adult novel Unclaimed Baggage and the memoir Save the Date: The Occasional Mortifications of a Serial Wedding Guest. She drives a green 2019 Subaru Forester. 

Katie Sanders is a freelance journalist who’s extra curious about justice systems, human stories and tech. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Business Insider, National Graphic and more.

Claire Zulkey is a freelance writer based in Evanston, Illinois, whose work covers topics such as  parenthood, health, business and anything related to Chicago. Recent pieces have appeared in The Atlantic, Entrepreneur, Runner’s World and Chicago magazine. She is the author of the young adult novel An Off Year.

Dakota Kim is a travel and lifestyle journalist based in Los Angeles. She has written for Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine and NPR.

Taté Walker, a Two Spirit storyteller based in Phoenix, has had their work featured in several anthologies, including Fierce: Essays by and about Dauntless Women and W. W. Nortonʼs Everyoneʼs an Author. Their first full-length poetry book, The Trickster Riots, was published this year. They are a Lakota citizen of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.
